On Friday 8th of April 2016, approximately 30 of our customers will attend a celebratory event in China to introduce the new STAMFORD PI7H alternator into the China market.

During the morning, customers will be treated to a tour of both Wuxi’s Xiangjiang and Xinrong alternator plants, in addition to the opening of the new China Training Centre.

Following lunch the new STAMFORD PI7H alternator, designed as the new solution for 2,500 kVA power, will be unveiled. Presentations will follow from Iain McBain – Programme Leader, Soh Leng Leng – General Manager of China & APAC, Jack Shu – Sales Director, DeDong Zhang – Senior Product Engineering Manager and Pauline Fan – Customer Engineering Director. Topics will include PI7H product design feature, manufacturing, performance, applications and more.

2016 also marks 20 years of Cummins Generator Technologies manufacturing in China. In 1996 we opened the Xiangjiang plant under the name “Wuxi Newage Alternators Ltd.” – today that plant along with Xinrong, opened in 2012, produce STAMFORD alternators to world-class quality levels.
