Cummins Generator Technologies will preview its new STAMFORD S0 & S1 industrial alternators targeted at the 7.5 to 62.5 kVA power range (Stand S3E30). An innovator in power generation technology, the company has chosen Middle East Electricity to reveal the most compact and lightweight products of its kind, primarily aimed at the global standby market.

The phased roll-out of the new range will begin in India from 15 March. Customers in all other regions will be able to place orders from 1 July, with full production going live on 1 September, 2016.

Scott Strudwick, Director – Global Sales and Marketing, at Cummins Generator Technologies said: “We recognise that reliability is a priority for the standby market, alongside the delivery of a product which is both compact and lightweight. We have therefore worked with our customers to develop a technological solution that will support their long-term business growth. Our rigorous research and development process has enabled us to deliver a product range which is durable, reliable and easy to assemble.”

In addition to previewing the new alternator range at the show, Cummins Generator Technologies will also launch an extension to its successful P7 range. Specifically designed for standby power, UPS and data centres, the STAMFORD PI7H is a 2,500 kVA alternator fitted with innovative cooling technology to increase power density and longevity, helping to increase operational efficiency and improve the performance of generator sets.
